South African racing siblings, Sheldon and Kelvin van der Linde, made their mark at the Formula E event held at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit last weekend. While Sheldon impressed during the rookie test representing Jaguar TCS Racing, Kelvin displayed his skills in both rounds of the Berlin E-Prix for ABT Cupra.
Sheldon’s performance in the rookie test was particularly noteworthy, as he went up against some of the world’s top single-seater talents. Despite tough competition, he managed to set an impressive series of lap times. His experience from four previous rookie outings for Jaguar TCS Racing helped him perform admirably alongside renowned drivers like Robert Shwartzman and Jack Crawford.
Kelvin, on the other hand, showcased his talent during the actual Berlin E-Prix races. Driving for the ABT Cupra Formula E Team, he finished in an impressive third place. He was just a fraction of a second away from the leading pace, showcasing his ability to manage his Jaguar TCS Racing program effectively.
The van der Linde brothers, both rising stars in the motorsport world, left a lasting impression on the Formula E circuit with their exceptional performances.
