Berlin’s renowned Krake Festival is preparing for another groundbreaking year as it proudly announces its 2024 lineup. This year, the festival sets its focus on platforming artists with disabilities, a group that often faces marginalization even within the realm of diversity.
To kick off the festival on June 18, Berghain will host a performance by Drag Syndrome, a collective of drag kings and queens who are breaking boundaries as the first and only group of its kind comprised of individuals with Down’s Syndrome. The night will also feature captivating performances by Hard Ton, Pansy, Sarah Sommers, and Für Elise, an emerging group from the inclusive music project Ich Mache Welle.
