Authorities are investigating an incident that occurred on Croydon Road near Long Lane, resulting in the injury of a young cyclist. The incident took place just after 7pm on May 15.
Emergency services, including the police, London Ambulance Service, and an air ambulance, quickly responded to the scene. The injured boy was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

The spokesperson for Metropolitan Police stated, “Police were alerted by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at approximately 19:08hrs on Wednesday, 15 May, regarding a road traffic collision involving a child on a bicycle and a car in Long Lane, Croydon.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service confirmed that they received a call at 7:06pm about an incident near Long Lane and immediately dispatched their resources, including ambulance crews and specially trained paramedics.
