Vilnius-based startup Tingit is set to disrupt the repairs industry with its innovative zero-effort repairs marketplace. The company recently announced that it has secured a pre-seed investment of €500k, in a round led by FIRSTPICK and with participation from BADideas.fund, PurposeTech, and HEARTFELT_.

Tingit aims to simplify the process of getting items repaired by offering a seamless and effortless experience for consumers. The platform connects users with a network of skilled repair professionals, making it easier than ever to get items fixed. Whether it’s a broken smartphone, a malfunctioning appliance, or a damaged piece of furniture, Tingit ensures that repairs are hassle-free and convenient.

Indrė Viltrakytė, Co-Founder and CEO of Tingit, explained the company’s vision, saying, “We own a lot of things and everything breaks at some point. Our possessions need and can be maintained to remain in use. We want to make repairs so simple it becomes a habit, just like brushing your teeth.”

By streamlining the repairs process, Tingit aims to encourage people to be more mindful of the value of repair and reduce the throwaway culture that has become so prevalent. Rather than immediately replacing broken or damaged items, Tingit encourages users to consider repair as a viable and sustainable option.

With the recent investment, Tingit plans to further develop its platform and expand its network of repair professionals. The company is confident that its innovative approach will revolutionize the repairs industry, making it easier and more convenient for consumers to get their items fixed, ultimately reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle.
