Princess Anne made a special visit to the Talent House, located in East London, on June 13th. The purpose of her visit was to mark the launch of the second year of Foundation for Future London’s Culture Exchange program, a youth initiative aimed at fostering artistic and cultural opportunities in communities across East London.

Last year, the Culture Exchange program successfully brought together 50 young people from different parts of the UK, including East London, Preston, Sheffield, and Birmingham. During her visit, Princess Anne had the honor of awarding certificates to these young participants who had taken part in the pilot program.

As part of her visit, Princess Anne had the opportunity to witness captivating dance performances and demonstrations by talented young artists and creatives. The Talent House, which is home to East London Dance and UD, a music organization, played host to this celebration of youth talent and creativity.

Tia Hassan and Kate Scanlan, joint creative director and chief executive of East London Dance, expressed their pride in welcoming Princess Anne to the Talent House. They emphasized their commitment to providing a nurturing and creative environment for young people, local talents, and the community.

Princess Anne’s visit to the Talent House served as a testament to the power of arts and culture in bringing communities together and providing opportunities for the next generation of artists and creatives. It was a celebration of talent and a reaffirmation of the importance of investing in the future of the arts.
