Welsh fighter Oban Elliott, known for his exploits in the UFC, recently hinted at the possibility of appearing at WWE’s first-ever PLE in Germany, “Bash in Berlin.” During the UFC 304 post-show press conference in London, Elliott dropped a few hints about his involvement in the event, stating that he has some business in Berlin under the TKO banner.
While Elliott remained coy about the details, he expressed his excitement at the prospect of participating in the show. When asked about the UFC’s event in Madison Square Garden slated for November 2024, the conversation once again shifted towards WWE. Elliott expressed his desire to have legendary wrestlers Hulk Hogan or The Rock’s music accompany his walkout, while also mentioning the possibility of former professional wrestler CM Punk accompanying him during a performance at WWE’s historic venue.
WWE’s Bash in Berlin, scheduled to take place on August 31st, will be the first-ever PLE event in Germany. The Uber Arena will be the venue for the show, with a taping of WWE SmackDown set to occur the night before. While no matches have been confirmed for the event at this time, it is part of a series of WWE PLE’s in Europe, following recent events such as Clash at the Castle in Wales, and Glasgow, Money in the Bank 2023 in London, and WWE Backlash: France in Lyon.
