In a shocking incident at London’s popular tourist spot, Leicester Square, an 11-year-old girl was stabbed, leading to a man being charged with attempted murder. Ioan Pintaru, a 32-year-old with no fixed address, has also been charged with possession of a bladed article. He is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

Initially, it was believed that the girl’s 34-year-old mother was also injured, but it was later discovered that the mother’s injuries were mistaken for her daughter’s.
