Train services at London Waterloo Station were significantly impacted after concerns were raised regarding an individual’s welfare near Raynes Park. The incident, which occurred at approximately 3.20pm on May 15, led to the cancellation of several trains.

Although the situation has been resolved and the person in question has been taken to a place of safety, disruptions and delays continue to affect train services passing through Wimbledon. Commuters and passengers should expect ongoing disruption until around 10am on May 16.

In addition to the services at London Waterloo, several other routes have been affected. South Western Railway routes in Hampton Court, Shepperton, Chessington South, Woking, Alton, Dorking, Guildford, Basingstoke, Yeovil Junction, Exeter St Davids, Portsmouth & Southsea, Portsmouth Harbour, and Weymouth, as well as Thameslink between St Albans City and Sutton, have all experienced delays and cancellations.
