However, thanks to the imaginative vision of Coppin Dockray, who approached Mr. Dannatt on behalf of an American client, the house was given a new lease on life.
Described by RIBA as a masterpiece of coherent interventions and thoughtful preservation, Hampstead House showcases a remarkable understanding of utilizing light and maximizing breathtaking views. The meticulous restoration process involved rationalizing subpar ground-floor additions and reestablishing the kitchen as the heart of the home.
