Lussmanns, the renowned restaurant group, is expanding its reach with the opening of a new branch in Highgate Hill. Situated in a charming 1930s building previously occupied by the French restaurant chain Côte, the new establishment is set to wow customers with its relaxed cafe-style area and a bar that leads into the main dining space.

Accommodating up to 130 guests indoors, the restaurant aims to provide a unique and enjoyable experience to all visitors. For those wanting to soak up the sun, outdoor seating for up to 30 people will also be available on pleasant days.

Originally founded in North Kensington back in 2002, Lussmanns temporarily closed its doors in 2004 before relocating to Hertford. Since then, the restaurant group has successfully expanded, with branches established in St Albans, Hitchin, Harpenden, Berkhamsted, and Hertford. Not resting on their laurels, Lussmanns has plans to further extend its influence by opening a seventh restaurant in Woburn, Bedfordshire, in the coming autumn season.

Andrei Lussmann, Founder and Managing Director of Lussmanns, expressed excitement about returning to London, stating, “Opening a restaurant in London feels like we’re coming home, as that’s where it all started for Lussmanns in North Kensington in 2002.” Emphasizing their commitment to quality, Lussmann added, “We can’t wait to open our doors in historic and beautiful Highgate Hill and welcome customers to come and enjoy the finest ingredients sourced from farmers, fishers, and producers practicing the highest standards – all at affordable prices.”

As a testament to their sustainability efforts, Lussmanns became the first small restaurant group outside of London to achieve certification from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in 2014. With this new opening in Highgate Hill, Lussmanns continues to demonstrate its dedication to providing exceptional dining experiences while maintaining a strong focus on responsible sourcing.
