Apparel manufacturing startup ZYOD has recently secured a significant amount of $18 million in a Series A funding round, led by RTP Global, with participation from existing investors Lightspeed and Alteria Capital, as well as new investors Stride Ventures, Stride One, and Trifecta Capital. This funding will be instrumental in ZYOD’s plans for global expansion, as they aim to establish their presence across more than 40 countries.

Rather than simply being content with its previous achievements, ZYOD intends to embark upon a new phase of growth by prioritizing technological advancements and talent acquisition, effectively disrupting India’s apparel manufacturing ecosystem. The startup had previously raised $3.5 million in a seed funding round, led by Lightspeed.

Ankit Jaipuria, Co-founder of ZYOD, emphasized the significance of this funding by stating that it will enable the company to continue collaborating closely with carefully selected local manufacturers. ZYOD will leverage its deep manufacturing expertise to unlock further growth opportunities. The focus will also be on leveraging cutting-edge technology, attracting more talent, and transforming India’s apparel manufacturing ecosystem.

Founded in 2023 by Ankit Jaipuria and Ritesh Khandelwal, ZYOD is a B2B startup that is revolutionizing the industry through its unique approach. By modularizing fashion styles, utilizing data for enhanced efficiency, and implementing smart ERP solutions, ZYOD aims to optimize the apparel manufacturing process, catering to the needs of a global market. With this latest funding, ZYOD is well-positioned to make significant strides towards its global expansion goals.
